Role: Work Placement Coordinator 

Location: Tresham College – Northamptonshire Campuses (Kettering, Corby & Wellingborough)

Salary/ Benefits: From £24,000 DOE and Qualification, 35 days of annual leave (including public holidays) People’s Pension, Retail and leisure discounts, excellent professional and personal development opportunities, accessing college courses.

Working Pattern: 37hr (1.0 FTE), part time hours also available 

Contract Type: Permanent – Full Time or Part Time

About the role:

We are looking for Work Placement Coordinator to join ourCentre Administration Department based at Tresham College. As a Work Placement Coordinator you will play a pivotal role in the success of our students by:

Assisting in sourcing work experience, industry placements and work-related activities for students.

Ensuring a high quality placement experience is provided for students (Study programme and T-Level placements)

Using college platforms to log student data relating to work placement and employer engagement.

About you:

English and Maths or similar at GCSE grade A-C or equivalent

A level 2 qualification or equivalent

Previous experience of handling enquiries and contacting employers or work placement organisations

Knowledge of Health and Safety at Work Act and HSE standards

Evidence of high performance in previous roles/jobs

Experience of working effectively with people from diverse backgrounds

Ability to communicate effectively and confidently face to face, on the telephone and in writing

Responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and for raising any concerns
