Derwentside College’s Business Development Team have developed long-standing relationships with a range of leading employers across a variety of employment sectors both in the North East and nationally and as such, we are fortunate to be training some of the country’s most talented Apprentices. As a result of our continued growth, we are now seeking to recruit a dynamic individual who has extensive experience of working in learner recruitment within a FE college or for a private training provider.
What you will do?
The role of Recruitment and Engagement Officer provides an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team who are currently expanding due to the success of securing new employment opportunities via apprenticeships and Sector-Based Work Academies. This interesting and varied role will include effectively sourcing learners and assessing eligibility and suitability, along with liaising with the College’s referral partners and stakeholders. To be successful in this role, you will need to be extremely self-motivated, with a positive and friendly approach and have experience of supporting young people and adults to gain employment.

This is a permanent, full time post. Starting salary will depend upon an individual’s level of experience.
