South Staffordshire College is seeking a Recruitment & Onboarding Officer on a permanent basis. The role is to provide and deliver a comprehensive and effective recruitment solution for the whole college. The role will be responsible for sourcing appropriate candidates and the co-ordination of the recruitment & selection processes including effective onboarding.
You will need be highly organised and able to prioritise your workload and ideally, you will have experience of interaction with recruitment agencies / negotiating preferred supplier lists etc.
Developing great relationships with candidates and service users via excellent customer service skills, and able to manage competing priorities, will be amongst your key strengths. The ability to be proactive and supportive is essential, as is the understanding and application of treating candidates, staff and managers with respect whilst maintaining confidentiality.
You’ll be joining a highly supportive HR team. As such you will need to be a strong team player and willing to roll up your sleeves to support all HR activity.
The role is based at Rodbaston and will require travel to the other campuses, Cannock, Lichfield and Tamworth to support recruitment activity.
