Location: Kingsway Campus, Dunstable

About the role:

We are currently seeking a Teaching Assistant Level 2 (Business and IT) to join The Bedford College Group at our Kingsway Campus in Dunstable

As a Teaching Assistant Level 2 (Business and IT), you play an important role in the success of our students through undertaking educational activities, preparing learning resources under the instruction and guidance of teaching staff / managers, and where necessary acting as class cover for tutors in the event of absence.

About you:

Ideal candidates will have:

• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent
• Minimum of six months’ experience of working with children / young people within an educational setting within the last five years
• An understanding of the educational needs of children and / or young people
• Ability to plan and develop educational activities
• Ability to work without constant supervision
• Ability to use IT in a classroom setting
• Ability to meet the physical needs of students
• Commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion
• Willingness to undertake appropriate training
