Satis Education are recruiting! We are recruiting for a passionate and dedicated Teacher of English, for our client school Birches Head Academy. The position is permanent and on a full-time basis and will commence in April or September 2024.
The successful candidate would be promoting reading and working with the Lead Practitioner who leads on literacy to support and promote the reading strategy.
Birches Head Academy (part of the Frank Field Education Trust) is looking to appoint a suitably qualified and highly committed Teacher of English to join this successful and well-resourced department and play a vital role in helping us to ensure our students receive a world-class education, thereby enabling each child to reach their full potential.
To join our client’s English department, you will;
· Teach English to KS3 & 4 (must hold QTS)
· Possess excellent subject and curriculum knowledge
· Set high expectations and be able to motivate and inspire pupils
· Manage behaviour effectively and ensure a good learning environment
· Make productive use of assessment
· Support and uphold the values of the school and make a positive contribution to the school.
