We are now seeking talented and experienced Tutors/Assessors to teach in the following programme area:
Leadership and Management Tutors/Assessors required to deliver on our adult learning and our CMI accredited Apprenticeship Programme and prepare candidates for End Point Assessment (EPA).
You will perform the dual role of Tutor and Assessor under the umbrella of Learning and Development Coach and must have experience of delivering Apprenticeship Programmes in the following area: Team Leader and Supervisor at levels 3 and above. You will be responsible for all areas of learner success that are assigned to you. The role of Learning and Development Coach is to provide advice and guidance, support, learning and assessment and to develop learners Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours which are centred around the Apprenticeship Standard.
Duties and responsibilities will include:
Learning and training
- Deliver individual or group training in accordance with the centre’s Delivery Plan
- Deliver training in-centre or in-company as agreed
- Develop Schemes of Work and Session Plans for group and individual sessions
Initial advice and guidance
- Develop an Individual Learning Plan (ILP) tailored to learner needs
Assessment and review
- Undertake work-based assessments and maintain appropriate records on the eportfolio system
- Plan and manage the whole learning journey including exams and in-centre delivery
- Undertake formal reviews in collaboration with employer, and all others involved in the learner journey
- Provide learners with ongoing written feedback
Co-ordination, support, and moderation/verification
- Be responsible for learner progress and provide support to ensure timely completion of apprenticeship programme
- Provide ongoing and additional support as required for individual learner
- Supply information to employees and employers to support the course improvement
- Attend meetings and undertake standardisation activities as appropriate, internal moderation/verification as required
- Liaise with employer representatives
Management of learning and training
- Undertake as required, all administrative tasks associated with the role
- Attend CPD events and programmes as appropriate
- Undertake training, assessing, and teaching at agreed levels
- Liaise with and work in collaboration all members of the Apprenticeship Team to ensure learner success
- Actively participate in quality assurance activities
- Undertake any other duties commensurate with this post, as deemed necessary
This is a key role in the successful recruitment and achievement of learners.

About you
We are looking for a Tutor/Assessor who has substantial experience of delivering Apprenticeship Standard programmes in an adult education environment.
You must hold the following recognised qualifications: Teaching (PTLLS as a minimum), Assessor (D32/33, A1 or TAQA CAVA), Level 4 subject specific qualification or equivalent and English and Mathematics at Level 2.
You must be competent in IT Skills, including E-Learning and use of E-portfolio systems.
