We are one of the few schools in Essex to have a 3G Astro turf pitch. Our school has excellent indoor facilities too, including a Sports Hall, an activity studio, and a dedicated classroom for those pursuing OCR Cambridge National qualifications.

We offer an impressive range of sports lessons and extracurricular, including non-traditional options such as Spike Ball. Hockey, Rugby and Lacrosse are all taught on our field behind the school, we also offer Tennis. We have excellent links to the local tennis, rugby, hockey, athletic and running clubs. PE is an important part of the school and is certainly a popular option for students to study in Year 10 and 11. We pride ourselves on our successful district sports teams, being runners up in athletics and district champions in basketball. We also enter local and national competitions such as the Essex Cup and English League Cup.

Our department is made up of experienced teachers, including mentors for PGCE and ECT students from Brighton University.

The successful candidate will have the skills, expertise and passion to enthuse our students to achieve across PE and Sport.
