Salary: DDAT Grade 9 £32,076.00 – £34,834.00

Contract type: Full-time, 52 weeks per year

Location: Office based in Bakewell with regular travel to DDAT Schools, and some opportunity for hybrid working.

Derby Diocesan Academy Trust is seeking a self-reliant and proactive Executive Personal Assistant to undertake high-level professional administrative duties to support the CEO.

Derby Diocesan Academy Trust is a local network of schools based within Derbyshire. We work collaboratively with others. As Personal Assistant to the CEO you will manage the day-to-day operations of the CEO, make sure the CEO’s schedule is effectively managed, and provide a high-level confidential secretariat function to meetings as directed, including supporting the Board of Trustees.

The role also includes supporting on marketing and communications through maintaining the Trust website, communicating with external stakeholders, preparing correspondence and other documentation within brand guidelines, providing full support for senior level trust meetings and working collaboratively with members of the DDAT central team and DBE.

The successful candidate will have substantial admin experience, working in a busy, deadline-driven environment.

Our ideal candidate is self-reliant, proactive and can take responsibility for defined areas, displaying initiative in finding improved ways of working and solving problems with minimal intervention. You will be able to build effective working relationships and work across teams, collaborating with colleagues from across the wider organisation.

You will have a proven ability to organise, prioritise and co-ordinate workloads within an environment of competing demands and deadlines including the ability to balance long and short-term programmes of work. You will also be able to demonstrate personal and professional integrity including modelling vision and values.

Flexibility and adaptability to meet unexpected challenges is key to the role, as is the willingness to contribute to the wider ethos of the Trust and the ability to promote inclusion and equal opportunities.
