Salary: £29,689-£32,451 per annum (dependent on qualifications and experience) 

37 hours per week, full time, permanent

An exciting opportunity for a Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) or Deputy DSL already working in an educational setting to further develop and strengthen the safeguarding provision at Coventry College.

Whose main purpose will be to:

Manage and oversee the College’s Safeguarding team.

Act as the lead contact on Safeguarding and Prevent for the College.

Work collaboratively with the Safeguarding team to provide advice, guidance and support to learners and staff cross college and promote best practice.

Support the College’s development and implementation of excellent processes for the safeguarding of students.

Contribute to the College strategy to ensure that learners achieve their potential and progress positively by working in conjunction with the College’s Pastoral Manager on a raft of key safeguarding activities.

Routinely critically review existing processes and activities with the objective of improving what is being provisioned where possible.
