Lecturer – Counselling (Lewes)

15 hours per week – Part time, permanent post

Here at East Sussex College Group we deliver a wide range of Counselling qualifications ranging from both Level 1 through to Foundation Degree and Honours degree top up in person centred counselling.  Often our learners start from Level 1 and progress within the college. We are looking for a lecturer to help us deliver the successful and thriving Level 1 and Level 2 courses.

Supported by the programme manager, you will be delivering both NCFE Level 1 Interpersonal Skills (Qualification aim 6033078) and Level 2 Certificate in Counselling Skills (Qualification aim 6000728X). You’ll demonstrate good practice in programme delivery, assessment and other teaching related duties.  As part of a great team of lecturers, you’ll contribute to the continued success of the course.

You must be a qualified counsellor, registered with either BACP or UKCP and ideally hold a teaching qualification (or be willing to work towards one). Most importantly you’ll have a student-centred approach to teaching and learning and a commitment to high personal and student achievement.
