We are looking for a Teacher of Art to join our academy in January 2024, this is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a well resourced, collaborative and student focused environment.
At Maltings Academy, our Art department falls under the Art & Design and Technology team, we teach Art & Design along with Photography up to KS4. Our Photography curriculum is diverse, covering black and white, colour photography, digital and analogue techniques and image editing. We are fortunate to have a well resourced department with a growing number of specialist teachers. We’re not just an Art department; we’re part of a collaborative department including Art Design, Design Technology, and Food Technology. Together, we engage students with innovative projects that inspire creativity.
We are located conveniently with fantastic transport links to London. Our students love these outings, and it’s an opportunity for them to connect with the art world on a deeper level.

Our strong pastoral care system ensures that every child is known and treated as an individual, and at Maltings Academy, we’re committed to maximising our students’ progress. This is an incredible chance for someone with a pastoral background or those eager to lead in this capacity.
