Nene Education Trust is seeking an inspirational Principal for Newton Road School to drive improvement and ensure outstanding outcomes for all pupils.

As Principal at Newton Road School, you will provide strategic direction and vision for the school, fostering and enhancing the schools’ ethos and values, and ensuring that the vision is effectively communicated and embraced by all.
You will make sure the school is effectively managed and organised to provide excellent teaching and ensure outstanding outcomes for all pupils. Additionally, you will represent the school and build strong relationships with all partners, stakeholders, and the local community to create opportunities that will transform the lives of our young people.
Our ideal candidate is driven by a genuine passion for improving the lives of children through education, with a belief in the potential of every child. You will be a team player with excellent leadership skills, capable of inspiring and engaging all stakeholder groups and leading, coaching and motivating staff.
You will have demonstrable experience of successfully raising standards and continually improving student progress and outcomes while in a head or senior leadership position in a primary setting. You will also be able to evidence successful leadership of teaching and learning that demonstrates, promotes and encourages outstanding classroom practice.
Flexibility and adaptability to meet unexpected challenges is key to the role, as is the ability to maintain a positive, supportive approach and use humour and empathy appropriately.
