GCSE Teacher – Maths
37 hours, Permanent
Salary £24,095 to 29,519 per annum (with an allowance of up to £5000 for the right candidate)
As part of our ongoing commitment to deliver outstanding GCSE provision, Barnsley College is looking to recruit a number of GCSE maths specialists. The successful applicants will work within vocational subject area, to enhance the learner experience and support the development and achievement of GCSE mathematics across the student body.
The successful applicant will form part of a supportive team and be able to demonstrate their passion, commitment, and drive, to plan and implement, teaching, learning and assessment methods that will drive change in the knowledge, skills, behaviours and attitudes of our students.
We are looking for an innovative teacher who appreciates the importance of the student experience. They will also have a progressive knowledge base and skillset, be able to demonstrate excellent time management skills and have an outstanding drive to see students achieve their goal to achieve GCSE mathematics and progress into further or higher education study.
GCSE Graduate Trainee Teachers
We would also like to offer opportunities for graduates with a Degree in Mathematics to undertake a Level 6 Professional Graduate Certificate in Education part time over two years. Barnsley College is looking to recruit a number of GCSE maths graduates to train up and become part of our outstanding team. The successful applicants, will work within a vocational subject area to enhance the learner experience and support the development and achievement of GCSE mathematics across the student body.
